Peel defeated Union Mills 4-0 in torrential rain at Douglas Road.
They took the lead after 20 minutes when their most creative midfielder on the night Chris Cain was upended in the penalty area, and Johnny
Myers tucked the resultant penalty into the opposite corner to Chris Kelly's dive.
Three minutes later, Marc Kelly's shot rebounded off the post to Kerron Christian, who placed the ball into the corner of the net to double the
lead.
Five minutes from half-time, a deep cross by Daniel Lace was converted by Lee Gale from close range to give the westerners a comfortable
interval lead.
Union Mills had brief hope after 58 minutes when Peel full-back John Kelly was dismissed by referee Mark Thomas for bringing down a visiting
forward when 'the last man'.
However although they had more of the play from this point they rarely troubled Kelvin Dawson, and Peel were even able to score a fourth before
the end, Kerron Christian's strength in the penalty area enabling him to notch his second of the night, and his 100th senior career goal for the westerners.
